Ray could very well understand the difficulties of people who were less able, as he was a quad amputee from 1987 until 2024. At that time he was the UK's oldest living quad amputee. He was always available to offer his advice in an empathetic way. Ray's knowledge of the building industry helped him to design his own accessible home and he was able to pass on that knowledge to people who needed his advice.
Ray sadly passed away in March 2024.
